At French’s Point, you can host the event of your dreams. Choose from four unique settings, starting with The Retreat. Established in 1885, it covers just over five acres, features a 280-degree ocean view and a landscaped garden. Host an intimate wedding at the Gazebo or a larger ceremony on the promenade. Alternatively, feature the waters below as a backdrop when you say “I Do” at the Oceanfront Conservatory. The Retreat also happens to be where your guests will stay should you opt for overnight accommodations. For a chic open-air ceremony, opt to host your nuptials at the nearby Sail Cloth tent on the lawn. Where you will also enjoy unparalleled views and private access to the beach.
A short-distance away sits the quaint Farm House. Established in 1764, this sprawling saltwater farm features beautiful grounds and a waterfront setting. It covers over eight acres, features two terraces, access to nearby orchards, and more. Plus, there is enough lodging for up to 28 guests!
Finally, there is the Beach House, situated the furthest from the main Retreat House. Established in 1998 it lends a birds-eye view of Penobscot Bay and can house up to 18 of your guests. A great option for a smaller event, it features a beautiful garden, a stone terrace, and a private beach.
