Situated in a secluded canyon, Horning’s Hideout is a private venue perfect for couples dreaming of a wooded wedding. Here you can choose from one of three separate and distinct areas, all of which offer spectacular and picturesque scenery. Whether it’s an area with a large wooden stage at the lake’s edge or an area beside a lake surrounded by trees, In addition to the unique setting, they also have all the basics ready for you to make your day stress free and as wonderful as possible! Including on-site camping, in the event that your party runs late into the night.
The Creekside area is a wooded area set along a natural creek and can handle about 250 people. This scenic area has very tall trees, a small pond, a creek that runs right alongside the ceremony area, and a large lawn area. So you can say “I Do” surrounded by the sound of untouched nature!
On the south side of the lake, The Lakeside venue can easily handle 350 people. The area is semi-wooded on the lakeside and forested on the other, with a landscaped 160-foot-long waterfall feature next to the ceremony space. In the center of this scenic setting is a large covered area and a grass lawn.
The Stage area is located North of the lakeside and can easily handle 700 people – making it perfect for large or luxury events! It is equipped with a stunning 65-foot-wide wooden stage, making it a gorgeous focal point for ceremonies. The stage sits alongside the lake, so you are right above the water, with trees on either side of the stage. Adjacent to it is a large lawn, fitting for an elegant outdoor reception. But in the event of rain, the party can easily be shifted beneath the nearby covered patio.
