Fair Rarity Flowers ruined my wedding decor completely. I was very specific as to what I wanted and my wedding colors because I wanted the flowers to represent that. My wedding colors were all shades of pink and also black. I wanted simplicity but Heather took it to the absolute extreme with my flowers. My bouquet was lovely, all pink roses only and wrapped in black ribbon, so no complaints there. Once I got to the venue and saw everything in its entirety, I just wanted to cry. No one use of flowers whatsoever in any of the center pieces. All of the “center” pieces were just a tiny clear plastic box filled with pink rock candy and a black bow. I’ve seen her other work on many simplistic types of center pieces and they were all lovely! One wedding I saw had one flower with a nicely sized stem in a tiny clear vase, why couldn’t that have been done for me? I got rock candy and absolutely no other flowers in my wedding except for my bouquet. My wedding pictures were absolutely ruined and I couldn’t share them with anyone because of how cheap it all looked. It was completely not what I asked for but Heather took it upon herself to do wherever she wanted to do and cut corners very much with my wedding flowers or lack of really. Technically, I asked for garden Tiffany roses which are pink and my favorite type of rose. But she told me she would not get those for me and my wedding since they weren’t in season yet my wedding took place in the summer, August to be more exact. It was heartbreaking and I still look back with envy for all of these other women whom she clearly cared more about. She cares about her floral work when it’s only being featured in a magazine or talked about. If it’s not going to be that way, she doesn’t care and still expects money for a terrible job. That’s not how a business should ever be run. It’s also completely unfair when any bride is on any type of budget where she just “phones it in,” and then you’re hit with a huge bill for terrible sad work. It seems she only cares about her image rather then what the bride is asking for and putting complete trust in. Do not trust her other brides out there! You should also ask yourself how a business could even have a complete perfect rating and not one naysayer. It was hard to even find this website to leave a review! Just beware, be very wary about one’s intentions when a lot of money is involved or when a bride is on a strict budget-do not trust her to take on your wedding like how she does with bigger more expensive weddings. Those are the ones that get published, not stories like mine.
